Sheer hypocrisy and eurocentrism - This is the kind of book Tony Blair would have written had he been an Orientalist. And we all know what Blair was capable of. An insignificant book in spite of the author s (misguided) erudition. The attack on Edward W. Said (chapter 9) is particularly malicious and repugnant and totally unnecessary.
